Since its publication in 1999, The Gruffalo, authored by Julia Donalson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, has been a firm family favourite. Watch the action jump off of the page and onto the stage at the Pavilion Theatre.
Join the story’s intrepid hero, Mouse, as he embarks on a walk through the woods, using his cunning to evade the threats posed by the animals he meets on his travels: a fox, an owl and a snake. Mouse declines their ill-intended advances by telling them he’s on his way to meet his friend, the Gruffalo. He describes the Gruffalo in monstrous detail and the potential enemies flee.
However, Mouse doesn’t expect to actually run into the Gruffalo – what is he to do when they eventually meet?
Enjoy the live action story with all the family as it unfolds at the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire. The show will run from 4th to 8th of July 2017.
