We are an eclectic Dublin pool hall with an original policy of BYOB! We have both American and British pool tables, as well as fridges to chill your beer. We’re in the city centre, so feel free to pop in and join us for some pool!
History
Established in 1979.
Dublin’s oldest pool hall, we have enjoyed playing with some notable regulars over the years, including the band members of U2! Not stuck in the past, we have embraced the rise in American pool by getting in some new full size tables, and recently brought beer back in to the billiards experience!

I am a sports mad pool lover, who is determined to revolutionize this great game. Pool should not be played in boring old chain halls but places with character! When not in The Hideout, you will probably see me on a football pitch, tennis court or a traditional Irish pub 🙂
