Knights School of Barbering trains people in the fundamental skills of Barbering. Introductory Courses run for 6 weeks. We also offer advanced courses, evening courses and courses in Hot Towel Shaving.
Monday to Thursday when the school is running haircuts for gents are FREE. Classes are closely supervised.
History
Established in 1972.
Hermans Klipjoint opened in 1972 as the first unisex salon on Grafton Street. This was the first place on Dublins most fashionable street that men and women could sit side by side and get their hair done. It was the hot spot for artists, musicians and actors to get their haircut and hangout.
More recently the salon has been used as the Knights School of Barbering. We are Irelands largest barbering school and train more barbers every year than anyone else. We’ve been featured on RTE and TV3 documentaries. Many of our students are working in top barbers around the country and many others have gone on to open their own businesses.
