History
Established in 2015.
Having practised Yoga since childhood, I am now a RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher, qualified to teach Hatha, Vinyasa & Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Classes focus on building strength & enhancing flexibility, underpinning this with supportive & appropriate alignment. Vital too are the relaxation & balancing aspects of Yoga. Effort… Balance… Ease – that is my mantra.

Being able to share Yoga’s many benefits inspires me greatly. I teach Yoga to help others experience the transformative power of Yoga. All of us are trying to be our ‘best’ selves; to be a good friend, parent, colleague, partner, sibling, carer, neighbour, child, citizen. Enabling us to face our days with resilience & grace, Yoga is a wonderful mind-body practice that helps to support us in our busy ‘everyday’ lives.
Yoga is great for cross-training too. I’ve run 3 marathons (albeit very slowly!) & am training for my fourth. I also love cycling. Yoga greatly helps with recovery from hard training sessions & also helps with one’s balance (proprioception adaptation) & breathing.
I also teach adaptive Yoga at two cancer support centres & feel privileged to help others just as others once helped me. Please get in touch if you’d like more information on those specific classes.
