Capris for women

Capris for women can be found in different styles and lengths. But usually they are pants that hit above the ankle or below the knee, but in our personal opinion real capri pants hit close to the ankle bone. Cropped pants like this are very stylish but they can be tricky to wear because they make your legs look shorter. If capris are a favorite of yours, you just need to learn how to style them so you will have amazing outfits.

When you choose a new pair of capris the most important thing is the length. We recommend avoiding the ones that hit just above the ankle that is the worse choice because they make your legs very shorts and look like they just shrank in the washing machine. Of course, if you have super long legs, then any length can be great for you.

They key is to look for the sweet spot to flatter your silhouette and legs. Length is not the only thing that you need to take in consideration. Color is also a crucial thing that you need to take in consideration because they can create a high contrast with the skin tone so the illusion of short legs will be more pronounced. Opt instead for a neutral color that will make the break a little bit softer. You can choose from a large color palette, such as pastels, beige, ivory, pink, baby blue or olive green. Patterns and prints can be a great idea too, as long as you keep the rest of the outfit simple and classic.

Many capris for women are casual, so you can wear them with ballerina flats. However, if you want to create the illusion of lean and long legs, then you should choose heels or wedges. Consider open-toe pumps, high heeled sandals, vamp shoes or stilettos.

Fashion rules for wearing capris are merely guidelines, so it’s a great idea to also use your judgment. Trust your intuition and follow the rules that apply to you and discard the rest.
