History
Established in 1998.
BODYFIRM Studio’s where the first dedicated fully equipped Classical Pilates studio to open and operate in Ireland. The studio’s offered both a range of Pilates group classes, personal training and physical rehabilitation across all the equipment. Owner / operator Joyce Gavin is credited with bringing this wonderful system to the country in the 90’s.

BODYFIRMS Studio’s are also hosts to the Prograssive Pilates Academy, the first to offer formal education in the Pilates Classical system, and is today a CYQ and REP’s accredited- Joyce Gavin is a 2nd generation Pilates Master Coach

Considered the first lady of Pilates in Ireland, with a reputation for innovative teaching both nationally and internationally.
Joyce is 2nd Generation Pilates Master Coach & a FreeMotion [USA] Functional Movement Master Coach is a 30 vet of the Fitness, Health and Wellness business & Physical Therapist.
Joyce maintains and active clinic as well as lecturing/ teaching schedule.
