A 52-year-old man died on Monday evening when he was hit by a truck in Dublin, on the Emmet Road, Inchicore at around 6pm.
Gardaí said the man was treated by emergency services personnel at the scene and taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital, Dublin where he was later pronounced dead.
Garda forensic collision investigators examined the scene and the coroner was notified.
